Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan extended birthday wishes to filmmaker Rhea Kapoor’s husband Karan Boolani, sharing a warm message for him on Instagram.
Kareena posted a photograph of Rhea and Karan on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Happy Birthday dear Karan. May the martini and meal always be top. Big hug @karanboolani.”
Kareena has previously worked with Rhea Kapoor, who directed her in the 2018 comedy film Veere Di Wedding. The film also starred Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
Rhea also marked her husband’s birthday by sharing a carousel of previously unseen moments with him. Reflecting on their relationship, she wrote that even after 18 years together, seeing Karan at home in their “precious little world” still made her heart flutter. She described him as her “handsome, loving, rock of a husband” and expressed her love for him.
Veteran actor Anil Kapoor also wished his son-in-law, highlighting Karan’s different facets as a filmmaker, creative mind and person behind the camera. He praised the curiosity and thought Karan brings to his work and said that Karan and Rhea had built something “very special” together.
Anil Kapoor also revealed that he was on his way to Karan and Rhea’s residence for a family lunch to celebrate the occasion, wishing Karan a year filled with “good stories, good people and lots of happy moments.”
Rhea and Karan, who had been in a relationship for several years, got married on August 14, 2021. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at the Kapoor family’s residence in Juhu.
