A court in Madhya Pradesh has issued a bailable arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav in connection with an ongoing cheque bounce case.
The warrant was issued by Fifth Civil Judge Class-I Farhan Masood Qureshi at the Civil Court in Mhow (Dr. Ambedkar Nagar), Indore district. The order stems from a complaint filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Case No. SC NIA/158/2026: Prakash Jaju vs. Rajpal Yadav).
Directed to the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned police station in Mumbai, the court order instructs law enforcement to produce the actor before the court on or before October 13, 2026.
However, as per the terms of the bailable warrant, Yadav may be released upon executing a personal bond of ₹500 along with one or two sureties of the same amount to guarantee his appearance in court on the scheduled hearing date.
The official directive was signed and sealed by Judicial Magistrate First Class Farhan M. Qureshi on September 22, 2026.
