Sai Pallavi is preparing for a major theatrical comeback with two highly anticipated pan India films arriving within weeks. After Thandel and her Hindi debut Ek Din, the actress has focused heavily on Ramayana. Her November lineup now includes Ramayana: Rise of a Legend and OM – Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood.
Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Rise of a Legend stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita. The first installment is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 6, while India’s theatrical release is planned around the Diwali period, underlining the project’s enormous global ambitions.
Just two weeks later, Sai Pallavi will return with Dhanush and Mammootty in Rajkumar Periasamy’s OM – Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood. The pan Indian action thriller also features Sreeleela and Naseeruddin Shah. Its release has now been officially shifted to November 20 after previously being scheduled for October 16.
Interestingly, both projects are designed as multi part cinematic ventures, giving Sai Pallavi substantial opportunities across ambitious stories. OM is produced by Shraddha Agrawal, Dhanush and Azmat Jagmag, with music by Sai Abhyankkar. She also has Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film Inji Vellam with Vijay Sethupathi which is scheduled to release on January 7, adding to her busy pan India slate. This marks her third release after Ramayana Part 1 and OM part 1 in two months.
