According to the government, the Jal Jeevan Mission has significantly expanded access to drinking water in rural areas. More than 1.11 crore families in Madhya Pradesh have benefited from tap water connections, advancing the goal of providing safe and reliable drinking water to every household.
The government also highlighted the role of the PM SVANidhi scheme in supporting street vendors and small traders. Through collateral-free loans and financial assistance, the scheme aims to strengthen self-employment opportunities and improve the economic stability of small entrepreneurs.
Officials said the two initiatives reflect ongoing efforts to improve quality of life through better infrastructure and targeted welfare support. The programmes are intended to enhance basic amenities, promote financial inclusion and create opportunities for sustainable livelihoods across the state.
