Srinidhi Shetty is in her early thirties, while Venkatesh is in his late sixties. Despite their considerable age difference, she agreed to play his wife and the mother of two teenagers in “Aadarsha Kutumbam,” which is set to hit screens on October 9.
In an interview, Srinidhi Shetty was asked whether she was concerned that playing a mother to two children at this stage of her career could limit her opportunities in the future. The actress said she does not look at roles that way and does not have any fixed rules or limitations when choosing films.
She said she has no barriers when it comes to accepting roles and does not have any particular “dream roles” that she is waiting to play.
Srinidhi Shetty shot to fame with the “KGF” films and subsequently appeared in Telugu films including “Hit 3” and “Telusu Kada.” After working alongside relatively younger actors, she has now taken on a very different role opposite Venkatesh in “Aadarsha Kutumbam.”
The actress said she wants to choose films that give her greater satisfaction when she looks back on her career.
