India will take on Pakistan in the gold medal match at the Asian Games. India defeated Sri Lanka in the semifinal to book a title clash with Pakistan, who beat Bangladesh earlier in the day.
India are the defending champions and would leave no stone unturned to win back-to-back golds. Pakistan have historically not fared well against India, but the Asian Games squad have plenty of young faces who don’t carry the burden of humiliating defeats to India. But the India Vs Pakistan match will be much more than just a cricket match given the rivalry between the two countries. It is all set up for a blockbuster contest.
