TOP and NANA Are Dating! Former BIGBANG Member Confirms Relationship With ‘Studio54’ Co-Star

South Korean entertainment is abuzz as the romance between former BIGBANG member T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun) and actress Nana (Im Jin-ah) has been officially confirmed by their respective agencies. The news broke early this morning, October 2, 2026, when the famed Korean media outlet Dispatch revealed details of their blossoming relationship, prompting quick confirmations from both stars’ representatives.

TOP and NANA Confirm Their Relationship!

TOP’s agency, TOPSPOT PICTURES, and Nana’s agency, Sublime, simultaneously confirmed the relationship. “They first met while filming [TOP’s] music video and formed a connection,” stated TOP’s agency, adding, “after which they grew closer, and [their connection] developed into a romantic relationship around this past June.” Nana’s agency echoed this sentiment, confirming, “They formed a connection through a music video shoot and are currently continuing a good relationship.” This marks a four-month public romance for the power couple.

Dispatch’s exclusive report highlighted that the pair initially crossed paths in January 2026 during the production of T.O.P’s solo music video for his track “Totally Crazy! (Studio 54)” (also known as “Jeonwan Michyeosseo!” in Korean). Released in April 2026, the music video featured Nana in a leading role, a casting personally requested by TOP, who was drawn to her “mysterious female character” and “classic beauty.” Their professional collaboration soon blossomed into a personal connection, leading to them officially dating by June 2026.

Dispatch’s exposé included photographs of the couple enjoying dates in Achiul Village in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, an area known to be Nana’s residence. Despite their demanding schedules, the two have reportedly made time for each other, nurturing their bond.

A New Chapter for the Stars

Choi Seung-hyun, 38, known globally as TOP, has been active in music since his debut with BIGBANG in 2006. Following his departure from the group in 2023, he has been busy with his acting career, notably appearing in Netflix’s Squid Game Season 2 (2024) and Squid Game Season 3 (2025). His first solo full-length album, “Multiple Perspectives” (also known as “Another Dimension”), was released in April 2026.

Im Jin-ah, 35, widely known as Nana, carved a successful career as a singer in the girl group After School and its sub-units before transitioning to acting. She recently starred in the Netflix original series The Scandal, which premiered in September 2026, and Climax (ENA-Genie TV / premiered March 2026). Nana has also been lauded for her resilience, having famously subdued a home intruder with her mother in November 2025.

Both stars, having navigated the intense spotlight of the K-pop and K-drama industries, appear to be embarking on a happy new chapter together.
