‘ fab routine was so good this week that it literally snatched the metaphorical wig — and some skin — right off of her costar ‘s head.
While attending Tuesday’s live DWTS show to support Higgins from the audience, the Traitors alum and icon revealed that she lost part of her scalp during the broadcast.
Monét reflected on the incident on the latest episode of her joint Sibling Rivalry podcast (below) with fellow Traitors competitor and Drag Race winner , during which she said she decided to get a chemical peel shortly after undergoing hair transplant surgery.
“The nurse was like, ‘It’ll probably start peeling by Tuesday or Wednesday, and you’ll be good by Friday,'” Monét said, adding that she promised Higgins that she’d come see her perform on DWTS early in the season.
Monét recalled seeing “a little something” happening on her scalp when she went to the gym on Tuesday morning before the live show, and said it developed “a little more” by the time she entered the studio to record a prior edition of Sibling Rivalry.
“I texted [the nurse] and sent a picture. She was like, ‘By later, it will be that same level, you’ll be fine,'” Monét said, adding that she went to the DWTS set as planned. “Bitch, last night at Dancing With the Stars, I’m sitting in the audience, no mask, kiki having a good time, and I look down, and I see a little chunk of skin on [me].”
Monét said she went to the bathroom and “was talking to people and my face was shedding,” and that she “looked like a lizard” in the mirror.
“I looked like my face was just shedding skin. I probably looked crazy talking to people,” Monét said as the pair laughed.
The Drag Race All Stars 4 winner attended the DWTS show to support Higgins, with whom she competed on The Traitors season 4 earlier this year.

Higgins, a Love Island breakout, kept things in the Traitors family for her DWTS debut, as she currently competes with pro dance partner and fellow Traitors star .
