Nushrratt Bharuccha has reportedly been hospitalised in Bali after meeting with an accident during a work trip.
The actor is said to have suffered an injury in the incident and is currently receiving medical attention in Bali.
“Nushrratt Bharuccha has met with an unfortunate accident in Bali. She had travelled there for a work commitment and had extended her stay by a few days. She sustained an injury in the accident and is currently hospitalised in Bali under medical care,” a source was quoted as saying by NDTV.
Before the accident, Nushrratt had been sharing glimpses of her time in Bali on social media. She had initially travelled to the island for a professional commitment before extending her stay by a few days.
Further details about the nature and extent of her injury have not been made public so far.
On the work front, Nushrratt is set to share screen space with Tiger Shroff in an upcoming film, marking their first on-screen collaboration.
“The team wanted someone who could bring both strength and emotional depth to the story. Nushrratt was always one of the strongest choices. Her role has substance, and audiences will get to see her in an exciting new avatar,” a source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.
According to the report, Nushrratt’s character has an important role in the film’s narrative and is not limited to that of a conventional female lead.
Bollywood Hungama also reported that the film features Pashmina Roshan, Abhishek Banerjee and Elvish Yadav in key roles.
Nushrratt was last seen alongside Sohum Shah in the comedy thriller Ufff Yeh Siyapaa. Her upcoming film with Tiger Shroff will mark their first project together on screen.
