India Dominates Sri Lanka to Reach Asian Games Final Against Pakistan

Nisshin: Ishan Kishan delivered an impressive performance, scoring an unbeaten 80 runs, leading India to a commanding 124-run victory over Sri Lanka in the Asian Games semi-final on Thursday.

After being put to bat first, India managed to score 169 runs for the loss of 7 wickets, thanks to Kishan’s explosive 46-ball innings, which included four boundaries and five sixes, along with a brisk 38 runs off 21 balls from opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

In response, Sri Lanka was bowled out for a mere 45 runs in just 9.5 overs. Jasprit Bumrah (2 wickets for 7 runs), Axar Patel (2 for 8), Abhishek Sharma (2 for 2), and Washington Sundar (1 for 18) were the standout bowlers for India.

Nuwanidu Fernando was the only Sri Lankan batsman to reach double figures, scoring 15 runs, while five of his teammates failed to score.
