Indian athlete Gulveer Singh produced a stellar performance to complete a memorable hat-trick of medals at the Asian Games. He bagged the bronze medal in the 5000m event with a timing of 13:42.75.
This follows his silver-medal finishes in both the 10,000m and 1500m races. Coupled with Neeru Dhanda’s historic shooting gold, India’s overall medal count has surged to 49.
