Lava has launched the Shark 2 Pro 5G in India, expanding its Shark 2 series with a new smartphone featuring a 6,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display and a Unisoc chipset.
The latest offering joins the Lava Shark 2 4G and Shark 2 5G in the company’s lineup. It is available in a single RAM and storage configuration, with two colour options.
Lava Shark 2 Pro 5G Price in India, Availability
The Lava Shark 2 Pro 5G price in India is set at Rs. 16,699 for the sole 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The smartphone is now available through authorised Lava retail channels, both online and offline, across the country.
It comes in Akash Blue and Nanda Silver colour options. Lava is also offering free doorstep phone service to customers across India.
Lava Shark 2 Pro 5G Specifications and Features
The dual-SIM Lava Shark 2 Pro 5G runs Android 16 with a clean, bloatware-free interface. The company promises one major OS upgrade and two years of security updates. It also features Vayu AI, Lava’s proprietary AI chatbot.
The smartphone sports a 6.75-inch HD+ (720 × 1,600 pixels) LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T8200 chipset, which Lava claims has scored over 5,00,000 points on AnTuTu.
For optics, the handset features a 50-megapixel AI rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It supports Dual-View Video recording and can capture videos at up to 2K resolution at 30fps.
The Lava Shark 2 Pro 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support. It also offers 6GB of RAM with up to 6GB of virtual RAM expansion and 128GB of internal storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type-C port. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner handles biometric security.
