According to beliefs, about 200 years ago, a woman Saduben from the Barot community decided to make his wife his wife. On this, he requested the men of his own society for help. But all these men refused to help him, due to which Saduben had to lose his child. Later, he got angry and set himself on fire.
The men of the village play this special tradition for repentance
Before setting himself on fire, Saduben cursed the men of the Barot society that their future generations would be born cowards. It is said that the men of the village dance by wearing sarees to reduce the effect of this curse and repent. It is believed that by fulfilling this tradition, all the men pray to the Goddess Maa for the prosperity of the village as well as the safety of the children.
