Swara Bhasker and Shehzad Poonawalla’s social media rivalry has spilled into the ‘Rise & Fall Season 2’ tower, with the two trading barbs during the reality show.
Host Virender Sehwag questioned Shehzad about why he was not speaking to Swara despite their exchanges on social media before the show.
Responding, Shehzad said nobody could silence him and claimed that he did not associate with negativity. He added that he would respond with words if provoked.
Swara then offered her interpretation of Shehzad’s claim that he was ignoring her. She pointed out that he had posted numerous tweets and videos about her since the show was announced.
“36 tweet kar diye jabse show announce hua hai, 3-4 video bana diye… Apne liye vote nahi maang rahe, inki team mereko kaha pahochane ke liye vote maang rahi hai,” Swara said, arguing that such activity did not amount to ignoring someone.
Shehzad responded that he would always speak against anyone who spoke against the country, regardless of whether they were against him personally.
Swara hit back, saying, “Chunaav nahi hai yeh game hai,” and added that Shehzad’s political career would not be revived through the show.
Shehzad responded by telling Swara not to worry about his career and instead focus on ensuring that her husband won.
Backed by Banijay Asia, ‘Rise & Fall Season 2’ streams exclusively on Prime Video, with new episodes released daily at 12 noon.
