Sunita Ahuja has spoken about the challenges in her personal life amid ongoing speculation surrounding her marriage to Govinda and reports linking the actor with his Roopa co-star Komal Rani.
During a recent visit to Kolkata’s Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Sunita turned to faith and sought divine intervention amid the difficulties she has been facing.
“Mere bhi jeevan mein kuch rakshas hain, aur main Mata ke dwara unhe yeh kehne aayi hoon ki Mata unka bhi naash karein,” she said. “There are some demons in my life too, and I have come here to pray to the Goddess to destroy them as well.”
Sunita also appealed to women and Gen-Z audiences for support, saying, “Please mujhe support karein. Jitne bhi Gen-Z bacche hain, auratein hain, mujhe support kijiye.”
Speaking about the impact of the situation on her family, she added, “Jo mere saath ho raha hai, woh achha nahi ho raha hai. Mera ghar toot raha hai for no reason.”
She also urged the media to consider how they might respond if a similar situation affected someone in their own family.
Speculation surrounding Govinda and Komal surfaced earlier this year after the two were spotted together at Mumbai airport.
They are set to appear together in Roopa, but neither has confirmed reports of an alleged romantic relationship.
Govinda and Sunita married in 1987 and have two children, Tina and Yashvardhan.
