Hero registered 5.41 lakh domestic sales in August, with Splendor and HF Deluxe leading volumes – Together the 2 accounted for 78.3% of total sales
Hero MotoCorp recorded domestic sales of 5,41,038 units in August 2026, registering 4.53% growth over the 5,17,599 units sold in August last year. This translated into an increase of 23,439 units. On a month-on-month basis, sales rose 8.22% from 4,99,943 units in July, adding 41,095 units.
Hero Sales Breakup August 2026 – Splendor Leads
Splendor range registered 3,53,842 units, growing 13.52% over 3,11,698 units a year earlier. Its increase of 42,144 units was the largest absolute year-on-year gain in Hero’s lineup. Sequentially, sales rose 5.55% from 3,35,246 units in July.
HF Deluxe retained second position with 69,794 units and a 12.90% share. However, volumes declined 22.25% from 89,762 units in August 2025. Compared to July’s 55,978 units, it recovered 24.68%, adding 13,816 units. Together, Splendor and HF Deluxe contributed 4,23,636 units, accounting for approximately 78.30% of Hero’s domestic sales.
Destini 125 And Vida Register Strong Growth
Destini 125 ranked third with 29,737 units, up 53.42% from 19,383 units a year earlier. It also delivered strong sequential growth of 55.35% over July’s 19,142 units. Vida volumes more than doubled to 25,558 units, registering 108.25% growth over 12,273 units in August 2025. Month-on-month sales increased 12.56% from 22,707 units.
Xoom 125 recorded 9,094 units, up 64.66% from 5,523 units last year, although volumes slipped 3% from July’s 9,375 units. Xoom 160 reached 2,259 units against a low base of 105 units a year earlier. Sequential growth stood at 36.66%, compared to 1,653 units in July.
Pleasure, meanwhile, declined 50.07% year-on-year to 5,502 units from 11,020 units. Sales were also down 35.04% from July’s 8,470 units. Passion recorded 15,254 units, down 38.15% from 24,663 units in August 2025. It also registered a 20.60% sequential decline from 19,211 units.
Xtreme 125R sales stood at 13,131 units, declining 12.97% year-on-year from 15,088 units. However, the motorcycle posted a 35.43% recovery over July’s 9,696 units. Glamour volumes nearly halved to 11,188 units, down 49.71% from 22,248 units a year earlier. Compared to July’s 12,995 units, sales fell 13.91%.
Xpulse Grows, Premium Motorcycle Volumes Remain Modest
Xpulse registered 4,980 units, growing 45.44% over 3,424 units in August 2025. Sequentially, sales increased 7.12% from 4,649 units. Xtreme 250R recorded 385 units, up 19.20% year-on-year and 19.57% month-on-month. Xtreme 160R declined to 310 units, falling 84.99% from 2,065 units last year and 37.75% from July’s 498 units. Karizma 210 recorded four units, compared to 24 units a year earlier and one unit in July. Mavrick 440 registered zero units in all three comparison periods.
