National Award-winning actress and producer Manasi Parekh has described the music of her film ‘Mitrata: Friendship Ni Love Story’ as a reflection of the different moods and shades of friendship.
The film’s soundtrack features singers including Amit Trivedi, Neeti Mohan, Mika Singh, Nakash Aziz and Arvind Vegda, making music an important part of its celebration of friendship.
Talking about the film’s music, Manasi Parekh said friendship has “so many different moods”, ranging from madness and fun to emotional moments and songs that remind people of their friends.
She said the team was fortunate to have artists such as Amit Trivedi, Neeti Mohan, Mika Singh, Nakash Aziz and Arvind Vegda on board, adding that each singer brought a distinct quality to the album. Parekh expressed hope that audiences would associate the songs with their own friendships.
Parthiv Gohil said music was close to his heart and that the team wanted each song to have its own identity while remaining part of the same musical world.
He said the participation of the various singers made the album’s musical journey special. Gohil added that Soul Sutra aims to tell stories with a strong cultural and emotional connection while presenting them on a scale that can reach audiences beyond geographical boundaries.
