Popular television actress Avika Gor, known for her role in “Balika Vadhu,” is making waves with her recent music videos. She has appeared in two distinct songs, “Bhookhar” and “Jalima,” showcasing her versatility.
Avika expressed that music videos provide her the freedom to explore various characters, looks, and emotions. “Bhookhar,” a Punjabi track sung and written by Vicky Sandhu, features a stylish and modern avatar of Avika, thanks to the music by Mix Singh.
In “Jalima,” released on September 22, she collaborates with Punjabi singer, composer, and lyricist Kulwinder Billa. The video, filmed in Punjab, highlights their chemistry as a duo.
Speaking about her experience, Avika said, “It feels great when the work you do connects with people. ‘Bhookhar’ and ‘Jalima’ are quite different, making this phase even more exciting for me. Both songs allowed me to explore different looks, energy, and emotions. The love I’m receiving from audiences makes me very happy.”
She further noted, “Music videos have always given me the freedom to experiment, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. ‘Bhookhar’ had a unique energy, while ‘Jalima’ allowed me to step into a completely different space. I feel thrilled to see the audience appreciating both experiences.”
Previously, Avika shared her excitement about working on “Jalima,” emphasizing her desire to explore new things as an actress. Collaborating with Kulwinder Billa on this Punjabi song was particularly special for her.
She also mentioned that the project allowed her to experiment with various looks, from Western to Indo-Western styles, making the shooting experience enjoyable.
