Dhoni’s padel play
Hyderabad’s social and sporting circles are already buzzing about a new celebrity-backed playground. Cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni is expected in the city in the next couple of weeks to launch 7 Padel by MS Dhoni, a luxury padel project reportedly coming up behind Neerus Emporium.
With padel fast becoming one of the city’s favourite new sports, Dhoni’s entry is set to add serious star power — and plenty of buzz — to Hyderabad’s growing racket-sport scene.
BTS buzz
Hyderabad’s BTS ARMY has a new reason to keep an eye on the big screen. The group’s Arirang world-tour concerts from Buenos Aires and São Paulo are set for cinema screenings in the city on October 25 and 31.
But before the purple hearts start flying, a clarification: BTS is not performing live in Hyderabad. Local venues, showtimes and ticket prices are yet to be confirmed.
