Actress Namrata Shirodkar offered fans a glimpse into a relaxed day spent with loved ones, sharing pictures from what she described as a “lazy orange afternoon” filled with laughter, conversations and unhurried moments.
Taking to social media, Namrata posted a series of photographs capturing the warm atmosphere at home. Dressed in vibrant orange traditional attire, she was seen enjoying the afternoon amid greenery, with glimpses of her home and its peaceful surroundings also visible.
Alongside the pictures, she wrote about spending the day with loved ones without any particular agenda and said it concluded with Ganpati visarjan.
She also shared a message of gratitude and a prayer for “love, happiness and good beginnings”, ending her post with “Ganpati Bappa Morya!”
Namrata’s recent social-media posts have featured the family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, with her children, daughter Sitara and son Gautam, joining her in the festivities. Her pets also featured in some of the pictures and videos shared during the celebrations.
Earlier this month, she had shared glimpses of the family’s in-house Ganpati festivities, including a video of herself performing aarti and posing in front of the idol with her pets. The family later participated in the visarjan rituals to bid farewell to Ganpati Bappa.
Namrata, who comes from a Maharashtrian family, is the sister of actress Shilpa Shirodkar. She married Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and subsequently stepped away from acting to focus on family life.
She was active in Bollywood during the 1990s and appeared in films including Pukar, Vaastav and Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, among others.
