Radhika Apte has opened up about the emotional trauma caused by an intimate clip from her work being leaked online. The actor revealed that she became “really scared” and remained inside her home for four days. The situation became more frightening after people around her also saw the leaked material.
Radhika recalled that her stylist’s driver had watched the clip and repeatedly asked whether she would be visiting her stylist’s house. Her own watchman had also seen it. Living alone at the time made her increasingly concerned about personal safety, while the incident showed how quickly online leaks can affect private lives.
The actor said she later spoke with her driver and spot boy, asking whether they had seen the clip and giving them the option to stop working with her. Instead, both reassured her that they would remain by her side and protect her. Radhika said the experience made intimate scenes far more complicated.
Radhika also revealed that fear once influenced a major career decision. She walked away from a project she “really, really wanted to do” after concerns that it could jeopardise her family’s safety.
