Aadarsha Kutumbam, also referred to as AK47, has been postponed from October 2 to October 9.
The delay in completing the shoot and the resulting post-production schedule have forced the makers to push the release by a week.
The producers had initially maintained that the October 2 release date would not change. However, the shooting is now expected to be completed only later this weekend.
With post-production work still pending, releasing the film on October 2 would have been extremely difficult. As a result, the makers have opted for a one-week delay.
Interestingly, director Trivikram Srinivas was reportedly keen on releasing the film on October 16.
However, the producers are said to have felt that competing with Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 and Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali would make it difficult to secure enough screens and could also affect the film’s opening. Hence, October 9 was finalised.
Aadarsha Kutumbam was originally planned as a quick project, with Trivikram initially targeting a July release. However, reshoots extended the schedule considerably.
The film is now nearing completion, and the makers have managed to restrict the release delay to just one week.
