Here is some good news for the industry. Nani’s The Paradise, which is all set to hit the screens with premieres tomorrow, has got a positive push as Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas’ much-awaited film Aadarsha Kutumbam (AK 47), which was scheduled for an October 2 release, has been postponed by a week. The family entertainer will now release on October 9.
“Aadarsha Kutumbam will be taking a little more time to deliver the entertainment and experience we have promised you. The film will now release worldwide on 9th OCT. We know the wait has been a little longer than expected and we sincerely apologise for the delay,” producer Naga Vamsi tweeted.
AK 47 postponement could work well for both The Paradise and AK 47, giving the two films a better theatrical window to perform. Nani’s The Paradise is carrying massive hype and buzz and is set to hit theatres tomorrow with premieres worldwide. Meanwhile, AK 47 will be released on October 9, with overseas premieres on October 8.
Even though there are notable releases like Jailer 2 and Ranabaali on October 15 and 16, the Dussehra holidays will see multiple releases, and AK 47 can still continue its run if Trivikram’s magic works at the box office.
Tollywood has been witnessing a steady run of successful films, including Suriya’s Karuppu, Ram Charan’s Peddi, Samantha’s Maa Inti Bangaram, Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin, Kiran Abbavaram’s Chennai Love Story, Varun Tej’s Korean Kanakaraju, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s DC, Suriya’s Vishwanath And Sons and now Ravi Teja-Shiva Nirvana’s Irumudi.
While films such as Romanchakam, Epic, Mahendragiri Varahi and a few other films have disappointed, the industry is now pinning its hopes on Nani’s The Paradise and Venkatesh’s upcoming AK 47, Vijay’s Ranabaali.
