Honda Cars India is planning to expand its lineup with several new launches and model refreshes. The brand has already planned an exciting launch and a model refresh this year. Here’s a rundown on what the Japanese automaker will launch in the coming months. Upcoming Honda SUVs – Honda Elevate Facelift
The Honda Elevate facelift will debut in India next month. With the update, we expect this Japanese SUV to receive changes to the exterior and interior design, and even add some new features. Otherwise, the Honda Elevate’s mechanical details are expected to remain unchanged. Along with the update, Honda could hike the Elevate’s price by Rs 50,000 to Rs 80,000, depending on the variant.
The facelift could receive styling changes similar to the recently updated Honda City. These include a revised grille, new LED lighting, and redesigned bumpers. Inside, we expect a new cabin theme and updated seat upholstery, while the dashboard design should remain the same. To make it more competitive, Honda could also add some features like a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, front ventilated seats, a factory-fitted 360-degree camera and rear sunblinds.
Mechanically, the facelift is expected to use the same 1.5-litre NA petrol engine (121 bhp & 145 Nm) from the outgoing model. The gearbox options are also expected to remain the same. This includes a six-speed manual and a seven-speed CVT.
Honda 0 Alpha
Another exciting launch from Honda will be its new and first electric SUV, the 0 Alpha. The brand has already begun testing, and the model will arrive in India soon. While the brand has not revealed any exact launch timeline, we expect the SUV to launch by late 2026 or early 2027.
Boasting a futuristic design, the Honda 0 Alpha will be a more modern-looking electric SUV from Honda. Styling highlights include a boxy design, a rectangular grille (obviously closed), high-set vertical tail-lamps, an upright tailgate, and chunky bumpers.
The full interior hasn’t been disclosed yet. But .The dashboard houses a massive infotainment touchscreen unit and a small digital driver’s display. The steering wheel is also expected to be all-new, and it will include paddle shifters. Even with a huge infotainment, the SUV offers several physical buttons on the centre console. We also expect the model to include a panoramic glass roof, powered and ventilated front seats, premium sound speakers, ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and more. The brand has not yet commented on the battery packs for this SUV.
