Did Elvish Yadav Share Paid X Post On India Vs Pakistan WCL Match? Netizens Slam ‘Iska Bas Chale To Desh Bech De’

Elvish Yadav is back in the spotlight after a now deleted social media post about an India vs Pakistan WCL match. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner hyped the face-off, called it a global event and rallied fans under a Bharat-first mood.

The post blew up fast. It also triggered a backlash, with users asking if the post was paid.

The debate got louder when screenshots began circulating. Some users said the timing was off because many online voices were arguing against the match. Others felt Elvish went too hard on patriotic hype. The trolling wave forced a quick clean-up. The post disappeared. Then an official clarification surfaced from his camp.

Elvish Yadav India Vs Pakistan WCL Match Post Invites Trolling

In his now-deleted post, Elvish hyped the match as a big India-Pakistan showdown in an international league and not a bilateral series. He referenced the idea that India can meet Pakistan in larger multi-team events even when tensions run high. He said the league would make history with legends taking the field. He backed Team India to dominate. He said ratings would explode, Pakistan would lose and the cup would come home. He tagged cricket greats and pushed a Bharat-first mood.

A user who shared the screenshot wrote, “How much patriotism Elvish Yadav has, you can understand from this tweet.” The same user argued the post came when people across the country were pushing back on the match and claimed it looked like a paid promotion. The user also suggested that other influencers received the same brief but chose not to post it. Trolling followed. Comments came in fast.

Check out some user reactions online:

“Paiso k bhuke logo se aur kya expect kar rhe ho iska bas chale to ye desh ko bech de.”
“Bhartiya vichardhara mein na milna samajh aata hai lekin desh se bahar paid tweet samajh se pare hai.”
“Elvish Ye ek chu tha..hai..or hamesha rahega..”
“shame on him antinational elvish”

Some fans pushed back and asked for calm, but the damage was done. The post stayed in circulation through screenshots even after deletion.

Elvish Yadav’s Team Shares Official Statement

With the trolling trending, a formal note said to be from his side began doing the rounds online. It read: “The official statement from Elvish Yadav’s team wishes to inform you that the post made on Elvish Yadav’s official Twitter account regarding the India vs Pakistan match last night was not done by him. The post was made by Ashish Gupta, who is Elvish’s manager-cum-cameraman, as he also had access to the account. We apologize for the inappropriate post. Effective immediately, Ashish has been relieved of his position as manager. Thank you,”

The statement tried to close the issue by blaming an account handler, apologising and announcing action. Whether that calms critics remains to be seen, but it gives fans a clear line: Elvish did not personally send the post.

On the work front, Elvish has been active across reality and digital projects. He was recently seen in Laughter Chefs 2 and Roadies XX. He is also working on his new YouTube series Elvish All Rounder.
