Producer Naga Vamsi recently confirmed October 2 as the release date for Aadarsha Kutumbam – AK47, and the team has also released the film’s teaser.
In fact, when producer Sudhakar Cherukuri reportedly asked the makers to postpone the film by a week, they did not show much interest, paving the way for The Paradise to arrive on September 24.
However, the latest buzz is that the shooting of AK47 is yet to be completed.
According to our sources, a song is currently being filmed and is expected to be wrapped up by this weekend. After that, the team will need another two or three days for patchwork.
The entire shoot is expected to be completed by September 24, leaving the team with just about a week to finish the remaining post-production work before the planned October 2 release.
Whether that will be enough time to bring the film to theatres is now the dilemma facing director Trivikram and his team.
Insiders say that if the post-production work cannot be completed on time, the makers may push the release to October 9.
A final decision is expected to be taken after the shooting is wrapped up.
