The trailer of the upcoming film ‘The Vvaan’, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah, was unveiled on Wednesday, offering a glimpse into a mysterious world where ancient folklore, supernatural forces and adventure come together.
The film marks the first onscreen pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah. The trailer takes viewers into a forbidden forest filled with ominous secrets, while also showcasing action, faith, humour, wonder and spectacle.
The supporting cast includes Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover, Anup Soni and Maniesh Paul.
Designed as a big-screen spectacle, ‘The Vvaan’ combines folklore and fantasy with adventure, mystery and humour, positioning itself as a family entertainer.
The film is produced by Ektaa Kapoor and follows her earlier production, ‘Bhooth Bangla’, which featured Akshay Kumar in the lead.
‘The Vvaan’ brings together TVF founder Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and Ektaa Kapoor in an attempt to present Indian folklore in a new cinematic format. The film’s universe has also been expanded through The Legend of Vvaan comic book, which introduces audiences to the folklore surrounding the story.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, the film is directed by Deepak Mishra, with the story written by Arunabh Kumar.
Manu Anand is the director of photography, while the film is backed by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.
‘The Vvaan’ is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 25, 2026.
