Bigg Boss 20 update: Rama Rama kya hai Drama! It’s drama galore in Bigg Boss season 20 as the contestants have locked horns in Salman Khan’s show over petty issues. While the makers are trying to spice up the game with newer challenges, the contestants have failed to pack a solid punch in the first week.
Love Gill Suffers Hot Oil Burn In Bigg Boss 20 Kitchen, Mahhi Calls It ‘Karma’
The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 witnessed an unfortunate incident when Love Gill accidentally got hurt while cooking in the kitchen. At the time, Amrapali and Mahhi Vij were involved in an argument, while Love was busy preparing food.
During the commotion, scorching hot oil accidentally flew onto Love’s leg, leaving her injured. When Uditi Singh later informed Mahhi Vij about Love getting hurt, the Lagi Tujhse Lagan actress reacted by calling it “karma.”
Mahhi Vij was heard saying, “Ye hota hai karma. Ye karma hai.” She then continued, “I’ll tell you something, main yaha pe kisi ko prove karne nahi baithi hu ki maine aisa bola ya maine aisa bola.”
Her comment appeared to stem from the ongoing tension involving Amrapali and Love, who share a friendship, with Mahhi Vij seemingly connecting Love’s injury to the circumstances surrounding the argument.
Mahhi Vij Gets Backlash For Karma Comment On Love Gill
The remark did not sit well with several viewers, who felt that an accidental injury should not be linked to personal differences or friendships inside the house.
While rivalries and disagreements are common in Bigg Boss, fans questioned the decision to call Love’s painful accident “karma,” particularly when the injury involved scorching hot oil. The moment has since sparked discussion among viewers, with many calling the reaction insensitive and stressing that personal equations should be kept aside when someone is genuinely hurt.
Vaishali Singh, who is an avid viewer of Bigg Boss, exclusively told Filmibeat Assistant Editor Abhishek Ranjit, “I didn’t like the way Mahhi used the ‘Karma’ remark after Love Gill suffered the hot oil burn. It shows that she has no empathy. Disappointing!”
Sushmita Gupta told Abhishek Ranjit, “Mahhi Vij might be a good actress, but she needs to play the game well and not use the word Karma so loosely in the show. Why should someone say this, especially after another contestant suffered an oil burn while preparing food for the housemates? Beyond my imagination.”
