The UEFA Executive Committee has confirmed Munich Football Arena in Germany as the venue for the 2028 UEFA Champions League final and Camp Nou in Barcelona for the 2029 final.
This decision was made during a committee meeting held in Thessaloniki, Greece, where hosts for several UEFA finals were announced.
In addition to the men’s Champions League, OL Stadium in Lyon-Décines will host the 2028 UEFA Women’s Champions League final, while the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff has been selected to stage the 2029 edition.
For the UEFA Europa League, the National Arena in Bucharest will host the 2028 final, with the National Stadium of Serbia in Belgrade chosen for 2029. The UEFA Conference League finals are scheduled to take place at Juventus Stadium in Turin in 2028 and Puskás Aréna in Budapest in 2029.
The UEFA Super Cup venues were also confirmed: Johan Cruyff ArenA in Amsterdam will host the 2027 match, and Astana Arena in Astana is set to stage the 2028 edition. Furthermore, Biel/Bienne Arena in Switzerland was appointed as the venue for the 2027 UEFA Futsal Champions League final.
The committee approved changes to the promotion and relegation system for the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League to facilitate the transition to a new format approved in May 2026. From the 2028/29 season, the Nations League will consist of three leagues instead of four.
The next UEFA Executive Committee meeting is scheduled to take place in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on December 7, one day after the UEFA EURO 2028 qualifying draw in the same city.
