Television producer Ekta Kapoor brought together several familiar faces from the Hindi television industry as she hosted friends and colleagues for Ganpati celebrations at her Mumbai residence.
Actress Anita Hassanandani, who attended the Ganesh poojan at Ekta’s home, shared a series of pictures from the gathering on social media. The photographs featured Ekta along with Urvashi Dholakia, Krystle D’Souza, Mushtaq Sheikh, Tanishaa Das Gupta, Vishal Singh and Ruchika Kapoor, among others.
The gathering also brought together two popular former television antagonists — Urvashi Dholakia, who became synonymous with the iconic character Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Anita Hassanandani, known for her portrayal of Shagun in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
Urvashi’s professional association with Ekta dates back more than two decades, beginning with Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
Anita, meanwhile, has been closely associated with Ekta’s television universe through shows including Kkavyanjali, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Naagin.
Anita’s pictures also featured Vishal Singh, who is best known for playing Jigar Modi in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. Ekta later reshared Anita’s post on her own social media account.
On Tuesday morning, Ekta was also seen visiting Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal with actor Sidharth Malhotra to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings.
Ekta and Sidharth are set to collaborate on the upcoming film Vvan, which also stars Tamannaah Bhatia.
