Actor Divyenndu has revealed that actress Shraddha Kapoor created his Instagram account while the two were working together on the 2018 film “Batti Gul Meter Chalu”.
Appearing on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s show “Double Date”, Divyenndu also opened up about changing the spelling of his name and his belief in maintaining a balance with the energies around him.
Explaining his approach, the actor said he believes in staying in sync with the energies around him and follows things that he feels help him achieve that balance.
Asked by Neha whether he had changed the spelling of his name across his social media accounts and email IDs, Divyenndu recalled how he first joined Instagram.
“Mera Insta banaya tha Shraddha Kapoor ne jab humne Batti Gul Meter Chalu kari thi. Pyaar Ka Punchnama aur Chashme Baddoor kar chuka tha main usse pehle, lekin main Instagram pe nahi tha,” he said.
He explained that Shraddha created his Instagram account when they began work on “Batti Gul Meter Chalu”. By that point, he had already appeared in films such as “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” and “Chashme Baddoor”, but had not yet joined Instagram.
Divyenndu also shared an interesting anecdote about his Twitter account, revealing that veteran actor Anupam Kher played a role in getting it created.
“Aur mera Twitter Kher sahab, Anupam Kher ji ne banaya tha. Humne film banayi thi 21 Topon Ki Salaami. Toh unhone kuch karke mera account banaya tha,” he said.
Divyenndu and Kher had worked together in the 2014 film “21 Topon Ki Salaami”, which led to the actor’s social media account being created with Kher’s help.
