Actress Soni Razdan paid tribute to legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle on her birth anniversary by sharing Ae Meri Zindagi, a song celebrating the veteran singer’s enduring musical legacy.
Soni took to social media to honour Asha and introduce the song, describing it as a tribute to a voice remembered for its warmth and timeless appeal. She also used the occasion to promote her upcoming film Om Ka Hari, which is scheduled to release in theatres on September 18.
The music video features Asha Bhosle in a blue saree as she puts on headphones and lends her iconic voice to the track. The visuals capture the veteran singer performing, adding a personal touch to the tribute.
Ae Meri Zindagi is part of Om Ka Hari, which stars Raghubir Yadav, Anshuman Jha, Soni Razdan, Ayesha Kapur and Samta Sudiksha.
The film follows a retired astrologer who, after suffering a health scare, becomes convinced that he has only six days to live. He then sets out for Varanasi, hoping to make amends and reconnect with his estranged son.
The film has also been screened at several international film festivals under the title Hari Ka Om, including the Indisches Film Festival Stuttgart and the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
Om Ka Hari is set to arrive in cinemas on September 18.
Asha Bhosle died in Mumbai on April 12, 2026, at the age of 92. Her career spanned more than eight decades, during which she recorded thousands of songs across multiple languages. Her death prompted tributes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several members of the Hindi film industry, who remembered her immense contribution to Indian music and cinema.
