Hanuman Ansh Achieves New Box Office Milestone, Neem Karoli Baba Biopic Surpasses Rs 150 Crore Mark

Hanuman Ansh Box Office Collection Day 32: Dr Vishal Chaturvedi’s film Hanuman Ansh has been unstoppable at the box office. After positive word of mouth spread, the biographical drama has taken the ticket window by storm. Featuring Shobhinaw Satyaa in a lead role, the film recently entered the Rs 100 crore club. On day 31 of its theatrical run, the movie earned a whopping Rs 22.75 crore and created box office history. The winning streak for Hanuman Ansh has continued as the movie has unlocked a new milestone. It has surpassed the Rs 150 crore mark in India.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk,  raked in Rs 9.5 crore on day 32 of its cinematic run, taking its overall collection to Rs 131.63 crore (net). On the other hand, the movie entered the Rs 150 crore club in India. Wondering how? Well, filmmaker Dr Vishal Chaturvedi’s film’s total gross earnings in India now stand at Rs 155.65 crore.

Co-starring Shobhinaw, Chandan Anand, Anil Rastogi and others, Hanuman Ansh is based on the life of spiritual figure Neem Karoli Baba. Shobhinaw plays the role of Neem Karoli Baba, while Chandan is seen as Dr Ram Nandan Bhosle in the movie. It is to be noted that the movie has a significant increase in its box office numbers compared to its day one collection. As per the tracking website, it registered an opening of Rs 10 lakh.

Also featuring Purnima Tiwari and Vihaan Shedge, this biographical drama has been produced by SWAMbhu Media Network and Holy Cow Home Productions.

Chandan Anand Praises Co-Star Shobhinaw Satyaa

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Zoom, praised his character Shobhinaw and his portrayal of Neem Karoli Baba. “Oh my god, he personified Baba ji,” the actor said. He further mentioned that he was left in awe from the first time he met Shobhinaw.

Chandan also described his co-star as someone whose personality complemented the character. “How can someone be so polite, humble and down to earth? He is devoid of any ego despite portraying a lead and living in Mumbai. He is a blessed soul himself and the director has the eye of a tiger. Great hunt!!,” he added. The actor further admitted that he has to watch Hanuman Ansh again as the film has deeper meaning to it.
