Besides the two big Bollywood projects from filmmakers Nikkhil Advani and Tigmanshu Dhulia, this week also brings a number of foreign titles to binge. First up, if you enjoy the hilarious Netflix French series Call My Agent!, a follow-up version is releasing on September 10. Six years after her agency closed, former agent Andréa Martel (Camille Cottin) is trying to launch her directorial debut when her lead actor walks out. George Clooney and Eva Longoria have cameos in the comedy film.
Mercedes Ron’s book is being adapted into the Amazon Prime Video film Marfil (Drawn Together) on September 9. Starring Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García as an heiress and her rugged bodyguard, the Spanish romantic thriller already has a sequel lined up. Finally, the K-drama A Love Other Than Yours starring Seo Kang-joon, Ahn Eun-jin, Lee Joo-ahn, and Jo Aram will premiere on Amazon Prime Video from September 12. Nam Gung-ho and Lee Mi-do have been together for 10 years and are contemplating marriage, when suddenly they begin having second thoughts about their relationship.
