‘Bigg Boss 20’: Nehal Chudasama Says New Season Brought Back ‘A Lot of Flashbacks’

Former Bigg Boss 19 contestant Nehal Chudasama has opened up about watching the latest season of the reality show, saying it brought back “a lot of flashbacks” from her own stint in the house.

Nehal initially decided against watching Bigg Boss 20, fearing that following the new season could be “more traumatic than fun”. However, she eventually found herself drawn to the show, partly because she had been unable to watch more than a few episodes of her own season.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Nehal urged viewers not to form opinions about contestants solely on the basis of the narratives presented on the show.

“Dekhte Dekhte bohot Saare flashback aagye! Bas itna kahungi ‘Don’t judge these people on the basis of what is narrated for each of them’,” she wrote.

She added that contestants are human beings who make choices that viewers may not necessarily agree with, while situations and individual stories can be presented from a particular perspective.

“They are all humans who make choices which don’t align with you and then every story and situation is shown from one lens! Watch it as entertainment,” Nehal said.

Bigg Boss is the Indian Hindi-language adaptation of the international Big Brother format and airs on Colors TV. The show has had several hosts over the years, including Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan and Farah Khan, while Sanjay Dutt co-hosted the fifth season with Salman Khan. Salman has been the show’s primary host since Season 4.

The 20th edition premiered on September 6 with 16 celebrity contestants, including MC Mary Kom, Kanika Mann, Mahhi Vij, Kushal Tanwar, Aman Gandhi, Isha Rikhi, Arishfa Khan, Qazi Touqeer, Asif Khan, Aamrapali Dubey, Rhiti Tiwari, Uditi Singh, Tanmay Singh aka ScoutOP, Rohed Khan, Yung DSA and Love Gill.
