Shehnaaz Gill Visits Attari-Wagah Border With Gippy Grewal, Says ‘Different Sides, But the Same Heart’

Punjabi actor and singer Shehnaaz Gill recently visited the Attari-Wagah border in Amritsar with actor and singer Gippy Grewal, sharing reflections on the experience and the emotions surrounding the India-Pakistan border.

Taking to Instagram, Gill posted a video from her visit and wrote, “Standing at the border… yet feeling no difference. Different sides, but the same heart… the same emotions.”

The video showed Gill enthusiastically raising the patriotic slogan “Hindustan Zindabad” alongside Grewal while cheering for India with the gathering crowd. Dressed in traditional attire, she was also seen posing for selfies with BSF personnel and capturing moments from the visit.

The video featured “Chal Ve Watna”, composed by Pritam, sung by Javed Ali and written by Varun Grover, playing in the background.

Gill and Grewal visited the Wagah border as part of the promotional campaign for their upcoming Punjabi film “Singh Vs Kaur 2.”

Speaking to IANS about her Bengali-rooted character in the film, Gill said the role allowed her to experience different cultures, languages and personalities.

“It was a lot of fun, and it was a very interesting character. And I enjoyed living in that culture. And seriously, when you watch the film, the way we have presented Kolkata so beautifully, you will find it very interesting. When you watch the film on 11th September, you tell me how much you found my character interesting. I enjoyed it a lot,” she said.

Directed by Navaniat Singh, “Singh Vs Kaur 2” features Gippy Grewal and Shehnaaz Gill in the lead roles. The Punjabi film is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 11, 2026.
