Days after the separation announcement, it was confirmed that she would be participating in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. On the premiere episode, Isha got emotional as she introduced herself. Without naming Badshah, she hinted at a troubled past. When she met Salman on stage before entering the house, the Bollywood superstar asked her to move.

On Bigg Boss 20’s stage, Salman asked Isha not to get emotional over her past. The actress assured that she would never mention her past on the stage and would emerge as a stronger person during her stint on the reality show. Isha also said she is more than what people know her for. Salman encouraged her to move on and never let her past affect her. He also added that personal matters should never be discussed publicly. He hinted that Badshah has moved on and so should she.

On August 31, Isha and Badshah issued a statement confirming their separation. It read, “Me & Badshah have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time. This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship.”

Before entering Bigg Boss 20, Isha shared an Instagram Story that read, “There are many rumors circulating about my marriage. Its shocking to hear and read the news reports appearing in certain quarters. I request certain sections of the media not to spread any rumors regarding my marriage or separation. I also urge the general public not to believe anything they read or hear unless the information comes directly from me or through my official social media handles. Thank you.”
