Rinku Singh leads Meerut Mavericks to UPT20 League final win over Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s Lucknow Falcons

Meerut Mavericks won the UPT20 League 2026 title in a one-sided final on Sunday. Led by Rinku Singh, Meerut beat Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s Lucknow Falcons by 94 runs to lift the trophy.

This was Meerut’s second UPT20 League title. The team had earlier won the tournament in 2024 under Madhav Kaushik. They also reached the final in 2025 but could not win the trophy. This time, Meerut finished the job in style. The win also helped them take revenge for their defeat against Lucknow in Qualifier 1. Meerut batted first after winning the toss and posted a huge total of 203/7 in 20 overs. Divyansh Joshi was the star with the bat as he scored a quick century. Lucknow then failed to chase the target and were bowled out for 109 in 16 overs.
