Nani begins promotions for ‘The Paradise’ with Instagram reels

Nani has high stakes riding on “The Paradise.” It is the biggest-budget film of his career, and he is also taking a risk by playing a character that is far removed from the conventional image of a Telugu hero.

He plays Jadal, a rebellious character who sports two braids and has tattoos all over his body, including a ‘bastard’ tattoo on his hand. The look and characterization are unlike anything Nani has attempted before.

Trusting director Srikanth Odela and his vision after their blockbuster collaboration “Dasara,” Nani has completely surrendered to the role and invested more than one and a half years in the project. The film has also reportedly gone over budget.

With the film carrying considerable expectations, “The Paradise” needs to perform strongly at the pan-Indian level, particularly given its scale and budget.

As part of the promotional campaign, Nani is now embracing Instagram reels for the first time. Recently, the film’s second song, “Yeshanagula,” became popular, and Nani joined Keerthy Suresh for a reel to promote the song and the film. More such promotional content is expected in the coming days.

Set in a bygone era in Secunderabad, “The Paradise” is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and features music by Anirudh Ravichander. Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, while Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal are part of the antagonist side. Sonal Kulkarni plays Nani’s mother.

“The Paradise” is scheduled to hit theaters on September 24. With 19 days left for its release, the team is stepping up promotions, with Instagram emerging as one of the key platforms to build momentum.
