For the past few days, the name of a 15-year-old girl has been gaining widespread attention in political circles, including on social media.

The Cockroach Janata Party also came forward in her support. What Is The Controversy Around Nishu Azad?

Nishu’s name was subsequently linked to the CJP’s Parliament march on July 20th. During the march, Bhardwaj reportedly hit Nishu’s father with a stick, causing him a severe head injury. Nishu was struggling to get justice as no action had been taken by the Delhi Police against the accused. Recently, a video surfaced on social media in which Bhardwaj is seen speaking about the incident in a podcast and brazenly boasting that he attacked Nishu’s father, yet he is walking free because of his political connections. The video reignited the matter, prompting the CJP to stage a protest at the Parliament Street Police Station, following which he was arrested.

In past, Nishu has made headlines several times before by participating in protests over social causes. Her name is often associated with student issues. Before the CJP protests, she staged a protest in Delhi in January this year over the UGC regulations. Several student groups, including DU students, held demonstrations demanding the repeal of the UGC regulations.

Her social media accounts reveal that her protests aren’t limited to a single issue. She frequently expresses her opinions and protests on issues related to student causes, social justice, Bahujan politics, and the government.
