PM Modi’s 25 Years in Public Service: BJP to Launch Month-Long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ From Sept 17

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public service, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a massive nationwide outreach campaign titled ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.’

The one-month campaign will run from September 17, Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, to October 17, and will aim to take the Centre’s flagship welfare schemes and the key achievements of PM Modi’s 25-year-long journey in public life to the grassroots.

The party has planned 13 major programmes under this campaign, focusing on public participation, youth engagement, social service and cultural pride.

What are the 13 programmes under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan?

1. Ashirwad Ka Diya: The campaign will begin on Sept 17 with lamp-lighting in every household across the country, including a special programme at Mahakal Mahalok in Ujjain, as a gesture of gratitude.

2. 25 Crore Children’s Dream India:Drawing and speech competitions for students on the theme of ‘Viksit Bharat’.

3. Namo Seva Gatha: Stories of public service and transformation will be showcased through musical Nukkad Nataks (street plays).

4. Aangan Ka Utsav:Anganwadi workers and beneficiary mothers will be felicitated, with dialogues on nutrition and maternal welfare schemes.

5. Kahani Badlav Ki: Citizens who have benefited from government schemes will share their inspirational stories of real change.

6. Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra:Influencers will travel to major development sites and bring ground stories of development to the nation.

7. Seva Jyoti Yatra:Yatras at the local level to encourage public participation and reaffirm the resolve of service.

8. Vadnagar to Varanasi Yatra: A special ‘Jal, Jan and Seva Sankalp Yatra’ connecting PM Modi’s birthplace Vadnagar to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. Ten groups each will undertake public dialogue via different routes.

9. Seva Mera Yogdan:Mass social service activities including blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, tree plantation and digital literacy campaigns.

10. Seva Setu Abhiyan: Camps will be organised at every block and assembly level to connect eligible beneficiaries with government welfare schemes.

11. Rangoli Rashtra:Creation of ‘Human Rangolis’ in local art styles at prominent locations across the country on a single day.

12. Rashtriya Innovation Challenge:Regional innovation competitions to promote youth and start-ups.

13. Jansevak Mahakumbh:The grand finale of the campaign will be held on October 17 with a mega congregation of public representatives from Panchayat to Parliament. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the gathering. On this occasion, the party will attempt to create a *Guinness World Record* with the collective singing of all six verses of ‘Vande Mataram’

The BJP said the campaign is not just a celebration but a commitment to take the spirit of service to every citizen.
