East Delhi’s Chase Falls Short
In their response, the East Delhi Riders faced early setbacks, collapsing to 36/4 by the ninth over. However, Simran Bahadur and Purva Siwach attempted to stabilize the innings, adding 46 runs for the fifth wicket, which briefly rekindled hopes for a comeback.
Simran scored 29 runs off 38 balls before being dismissed, leaving the Riders in a precarious position. Purva fought valiantly, finishing not out at 30 runs from 30 balls, but lacked sufficient support from her teammates. Deeksha Sharma emerged as the standout bowler for Central Delhi, taking 3 wickets for just 19 runs in four overs, effectively sealing the victory for the Queens.
