Tejasswi Prakash has been keeping herself busy with reality television. After Celebrity MasterChef, Laughter Chefs and Desi Bling, the actor is now stepping into a mentor’s role on Playgrounds Season 5. But with her recent projects largely revolving around reality shows, the question on fans’ minds has been: Has Tejasswi’s acting career taken a pause after Naagin 6 and Psycho Saiyaan?

Speaking exclusively to mid-day, Tejasswi put those rumours to rest and revealed that she is, in fact, working on an acting project.
“I am doing something, after , Laughter Chefs lasted for good nine months. I am shooting for something, it is extremely exciting and yes it is acting project. I haven’t taken a break from acting,” she said. While fans may be waiting to see her back in a fiction role, Tejasswi is currently enjoying her stint as a mentor. She also reflected on whether she would consider returning to Khatron Ke Khiladi, especially with the reality show introducing a Champions vs Challengers format in its 15th season.

Looking back at her own experience, Tejasswi admitted that she may not have the same appetite for extreme stunts anymore. “I honestly feel that if we were in their place, then would do it better than them. But right now I believe, after a point you become a little comfortable in where you are. That you don’t feel like doing so much and rather take up something which is more easier,” she said.
She added, “I still wonder, I had done Khatron Ke Khiladi, will I ever do something like that again. I had third degree burns, my leg had burns, I had marks on my face and body.” And if she were offered a similar challenge today? Tejasswi has her answer ready: “Now, if someone tells me do to something like this and even if they would pay me for it, I would be like, ‘not anymore, I’d rather become a mentor than this.’”
Tejasswi is soon set to reveal her upcoming project, shutting all questions on her acting career taking a step back due to her back to back reality shows.
