Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, is among the few celebrities who’ve spoken about the flash flood that hit the Nepal-China border. Sonu Sood and Manisha Koirala were among the first ones to do so. In a recent interview, Sunita expressed that it is heartbreaking to see devastating floods in Nepal. Although the Lock Upp 2 contestant wasn’t born there, her mother and grandmother are from Kathmandu. The reality show contestant further shared that she visits Nepal every year with her daughter Tina Ahuja for New Year. Sunita and Tina ensure to visit the Pashupatinath temple and seek blessings from God.

In an interview with ETimes ,said that she is trying to connect with someone who can ensure that her donation reaches the right people. “I would like to donate as much as I can because they are very close to me and Nepal is my matrabhoomi. I request everyone in the industry to come forward and contribute towards helping the people of Nepal.”

The reality star further mentioned that Manisha Koirala is like her sister and she is sure that the actress must be doing the best for people in Nepal. “I pray to Pashupathinath Baba that everything returns to normal soon and that Nepal never has to face such a crisis again. It has my heart,” she told the entertainment portal.
Sunita Ahuja’s Work Front
On the work front, Sunita was last seen in Lock Upp 2, hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. The reality star had to leave the Netflix show due to health reasons. That said, she is going to make her Bollywood debut with filmmaker Sajid Khan’s Hero Ki Horrorine. Interestingly, this project also marks her and Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s acting debut. They will be seen with Nitanshi Goel, Jamie Lever, Chunky Pandey, Brijendra Kala and Simrat Kaur Randhawa. It will be released in theatres on January 7, 2027.

Talking about her personal front, Sunita has been in news for her marital dispute with Govinda. The star wife had earlier called her partner ‘ of his Roopa co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar. She said in Hindi that the Bollywood actor should be ashamed that he was roaming with a girl who is the same age as his daughter. “Tumhara sugar daddy itna ameer hai, kapde toh dhang ke pehno. Humlog ko dekho kya style me chalte hai,” she had said.
