BTS Jungkook Cuts Birthday Cake With V, J-Hope; Says ‘I Love You’ To Parents And ARMY In Weverse Live

BTS’ Jungkook had an emotional birthday celebration filled with love, gratitude and special moments with his members. While thanking ARMY for their warm birthday wishes, the singer also opened up about his feelings for his parents, admitting that he often finds it difficult to express his emotions directly. In a heartfelt Weverse live, Jungkook thanked his parents for bringing him into the world and said their love had allowed him to live such a happy life. He also told them he cherished them and their family. Adding to the celebrations, Jungkook also cut his birthday cake with BTS’ V aka Kim Taehyung and J-Hope.

BTS member J-Hope shared a video on his Instagram Stories wishing the youngest member Jungkook on his 29th birthday. The video featured the birthday boy celebrates his special day with a sweet cake while V aka Kim Taehyung and J-Hope singing happy birthday. The candid moment captured the BTS members celebrating together, adding another heartwarming touch to the Golden Maknae’s special day.

Meanwhile, Jin also wished him on his birthday and wrote, “yo jaykay happy birthday bro.”

Jungkook’s emotional Weverse live

Jungkook, later, hold a Weverse live and his birthday took an especially emotional turn when he addressed his parents and thanked them for bringing him into the world, saying, “Thank you for bringing me into this world.” He added, “Thanks to you, I’m able to live such a happy life,” before admitting that he feels shy expressing his emotions directly. “It’s a little embarrassing for me to say this directly over the phone or through a message because I’m quite shy and I’m not very good at expressing myself,” he said. Jungkook then told them, “I love you,” and added that he hoped they knew he “truly cherish[es]” them and their family. He also suggested, “We should go take some family photos together sometime” and “Let’s go on a trip together.”

Turning his attention to ARMY, Jungkook once again thanked fans for their birthday wishes, saying, “Thanks to you, I’ve been spending such happy days.” He shared that he would get some rest before working hard at the concert the next day and wished fans, “I hope you all have a peaceful night, a wonderful morning, and sleep well.” Before signing off, he promised to return for another live with a more grounded heart and mind, teasing, “I’ll come back with a lot more romance and sentimentality.” He ended the birthday live with a heartfelt, “I love you, ARMYs! Thank you, everyone!”

 also opened up about the kind of person he would like to have on his future film crew, describing someone who is “around my age” and enjoys “having a drink.” He added that the person should “talk a bit more than me,” be “full of passion,” care about “appearance or clothes,” and “love working out.” With a playful confidence, Jungkook summed up his requirements simply: “That’s all I need.” He also revealed that he plans to put together a film crew, giving fans another glimpse into his creative plans beyond music. He also showed his vitamin bag to ARMY.

 

 

Meanwhile, BTS ARMY have even more reason to celebrate as  coincides with the group’s highly anticipated BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG concert in Los Angeles. All four LA shows, scheduled for September 1, 2, 5 and 6 at 8 PM PDT, will be available for real-time online livestreaming on Weverse. For Indian fans, the concerts can be watched at 8:30 AM IST on September 2, 3, 6 and 7, respectively. The September 1 show holds special significance as it falls on Jungkook’s birthday, although no official birthday surprise has been announced. The livestream tickets also do not include VOD access.
