Varun Dhawan recently gave fans a rare peek into his family vacation in Singapore, sharing heartwarming moments with his wife Natasha Dalal and daughter Lara.
During their family visit, Varun’s family also got to see the actor’s wax statue at Madame Tussaud’s. The visit turned into a memorable family moment for his daughter Lara who was viewing the statue for the first time.
In one of the pictures posted by the ‘Mein Tera actor’ on Instagram, she can be seen gazing at the statue with curiosity, making the moment all the more special for the actor.
Varun also posted a photo of himself with the wax statue of filmmaker Karan Johar at Madame Tussaud’s, signifying the bond between him and the filmmaker who directed his debut film ‘Student of the Year’.
While sharing the photos on his Instagram on Tuesday, the actor captioned it, “Core memory unlocked. Showed my wife and daughter my statue. Thank you Madame Tussaud’s Singapore for the hospitality.”
Varun and Natasha, who were in a relationship for many years before tying the knot, exchanged wedding vows in Alibaug’s The Mansion House at a private ceremony on January 24, 2021.
The couple got married in the presence of close friends and family members, keeping COVID-19 protocols in mind. Their wedding ceremony reportedly also had a no-cell phone policy to ensure complete privacy.
The couple welcomed their first child, Lara, in June 2024, and the new parents have since been soaking in the joys of parenthood.
On the work front, actor Varun is set to headline Yash Raj Films’ first-ever horror feature, marking the banner’s entry into the genre with a theatrical release planned for 2027, according to sources close to YRF.
The film will be directed by Abhay Pannu, best known for ‘Rocket Boys’. Abhay has also written the screenplay.
The project is scheduled to go on floors later this year. An industry source confirmed Varun’s casting, saying, “Varun has come on board as the lead for YRF’s first horror film.”
The upcoming project will also mark Varun’s second collaboration with Yash Raj Films after the success of ‘Sui Dhaaga’, as he returns to headline the studio’s first theatrical horror film.
