Bhavna Pani Recalls Saif Ali Khan Remembering Her After Nearly Two Decades: ‘Wow, You Remember?’

Actress Bhavna Pani has recalled her experience of working with Saif Ali Khan in Priyadarshan’s upcoming drama ‘Haiwaan’, revealing that she was pleasantly surprised when the actor remembered her from a Pepsi advertisement they had done nearly two decades ago.

Bhavna, who also stars in the film alongside Akshay Kumar, shared the anecdote while speaking exclusively to IANS. She said her earlier collaboration with Saif was for a Pepsi commercial, and she did not expect him to remember her when they reunited on the sets of ‘Haiwaan’.

“I had a lot of fun. Saif sir and I had earlier done an advertisement for Pepsi, and I was very surprised when we met again,” she said.

Recalling their first interaction on the sets, Bhavna said she introduced herself by saying, “Hi, I am Bhavna.” Saif responded, “Yes, I know you, Bhavna Pani.”

The actress said she was impressed that Saif remembered both her and their earlier advertisement after almost 20 years.

“Wow, you remember?” she recalled saying.

Bhavna praised Saif for his conduct towards people on set, describing him as someone who gives importance and respect to everyone.

“He is a very good person. He gives a lot of respect and importance to everyone, and he remembers people. I was very impressed. He is also a very good human being,” she said.

Bhavna also spoke about her recent experience working with Akshay Kumar in ‘Bhooth Bangla’, highlighting the actor’s playful approach to life on set.

She said Akshay often kept the atmosphere lively through games, cricket sessions and occasional pranks. According to Bhavna, everyone on the set had to remain alert because the actor did not spare anyone when it came to his practical jokes.

“You have to be very careful with him, not just with me but with everyone. He never spared Paresh sir or Rajpal ji either,” she said.

Bhavna recalled that the cast would also play Ludo on Akshay’s iPad, but despite repeatedly losing, Akshay would always emerge victorious.
