Royal Enfield has unveiled the limited-edition Shotgun 650, at its Motoverse 2023 event in Goa. This bobber-styled motorcycle is initially limited to just 25 units, which will be sold to lucky attendees of the Motoverse event through a lucky draw.
The Shotgun 650 displays quintessential bobber styling, characterized by a long profile and a low-slung stance. Its unique aesthetics include a naked round headlamp with an offset console on top, bar-end mirrors, a single seat, a chunky and chopped rear fender, and an all-black theme for the hardware package.
The limited-run bike sports a rather distinct paint scheme. The Shotgun 650’s paint scheme is a striking combination of blue and black shades with additional edgy bright yellow highlights.
In terms of features, the Shotgun 650 offers a full-LED lighting system (circular headlight, indicators and brake light) and a semi-digital circular console setup with a Tripper navigation module.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 also sports some rather nice looking alloy wheels painted in black that are shod with chunky tires along with upside-down front forks and disc brakes all around. Also seen is a set of pea-shooter exhausts.
The Shotgun 650 is powered by the same 649cc, air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine found in other 650 motorcycles in Royal Enfield’s line-up. This powertrain generates 47bhp and 52Nm in the other 650 bikes and is coupled with a six-speed gearbox.
However, it remains to be seen if Royal Enfield has made any tweaks to the tuning of the motor for the Shotgun as the Chennai-based retro-motorcycle manufacturer has remained silent about any specs regarding this custom offering for its Motoverse event-attending fans.
