A day before this, Maulana Tauqir Raza had announced a sit -in at Islamia Maidan in Bareilly after the prayer of Jumme. After this, strict security arrangements were made in Bareilly. Bareilly police was on high alert. Police conducted a flag march in the city. The soldiers were deployed and monitored by drones. Despite all this, there was a ruckus in Bareilly.
After the prayers of Jumme, people insisted on entering Islamia Maidan. When the police stopped, they started shouting slogans. The barricades broke and on seeing it started to throw stones. The police had to lathi -charge to control the situation. When people ran and beat people, there was a stampede. Now the police is marching in the entire area. The officials have instructed people to stay in their homes. Force has also been called from nearby districts.

Maulana Tauqir is an Islamic religious leader
Maulana Tauqir Raza is a religious leader who announced a dharna at Islamia Maidan in Bareilly. He is related to the Bareilly sect of Sunni Muslims. Maulana Tauqir Raza Ala comes from Hazrat family. Sunni Barelvi Masalak of Islam was started by his family. Maulana Tauqir Raza, the great -grandson of Ahmed Raza Khan, is an Islamic religious leader of UP.
He was separated from the All India Muslim Personal Law Board by accusing Deobandi Muslims of discrimination. He has since been headed by All India Muslim Personal Law Board (Jadid).

He tried his hand in elections by forming a political party
In the year 2001, Tauqir Raza formed a political party, whose name is the name Ittehad-e-Millat Parishad. However, in the year 2009, Tauqir Raza held the hand of the Congress. After this, during the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections held in 2012, Tauqir Raza supported the Samajwadi Party (SP). His own party candidate won from Bhojipura. However, after the riots in Muzaffarnagar, Raza left the Samajwadi Party. Tauqir Raza supported Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in 2014.
The statement was given against Chief Minister Yogi
Tauqir Raza has been in the discussion so far in many cases by making controversial statements. He also made a statement against the citizenship law. Apart from this, he has issued a fatwa against Taslima Nasreen. Even met Azam Khan in jail and after that he had given a statement against UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government. He then said that every oppression will be calculated.

Controversy started from Kanpur
In fact, the ongoing ruckus across the country about the I Love Mohammed poster started from Kanpur. During the procession of Baravafat on September 4 in Kanpur, some people moved away from a certain place and put a banner of I Love Mohammed with a tent. It was opposed by one side.
The argument was that this is a new tradition. On this, people from both sides came face to face. Posters and banners were torn on this. On September 10, an FIR was registered against 25 people in Kanpur. However, the police is denying this and says that the FIR has been registered in another case. Despite this, the people of the Muslim community took out a procession on September 19 demanding withdrawal of FIR in Kanpur.

Maulana Tauqir Raza held a press conference
Maulana Tauqir Raza held a press conference on this issue. It was alleged that derogatory comments are being made against the Prophet across the country. He also mentioned posters with I Love Mohammed in Kanpur that the cases registered by the police did not have a direct connection with the posters. On this issue, he announced a sit-in demonstration in Bareilly, due to which there was a ruckus in Bareilly.
