CM Yogi Scholarship 2025: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that more than five lakh students deprived of scholarship will be given scholarship before Diwali due to technical reasons. The amount will be sent directly to the accounts from DBT.
In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a big announcement on Friday, raising a new hope for education and equal opportunities. He said that more than five lakh students who could not get the scholarship due to technical flaw this year will be sent directly to their account before Deepawali. The budget has been prepared for this and the accountability of responsible institutions will also be decided.
At the scholarship distribution ceremony held in IGP, CM Yogi distributed scholarship to four lakh students. He said that the progress of any country starts with education and the government aim is that no child should be deprived of school education and scholarship.
Changes in scholarship system, DBT and technical reforms
The Chief Minister said that before 2017, the amount of scholarship often did not reach the students’ account and there was discrimination in it. Sometimes the scholarships received in September-October used to come in March-April, sometimes many classes were completely denied. After the arrival of the Yogi government, scholarships of 2016-17 and 2017-18 were also delivered to every child.
CM Yogi informed that now the scholarship is being sent directly to the students’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer. There is no scope for any kind of mediation in it. Also, with the help of Artificial Intelligence, the scholarship process has been made more transparent.
